Directions to Glenmalure Pines
To locate Glenmalure Pines luxury self catering accommodation, find Rathdrum on your map. The lodge is about 3 miles west – up Glenmalure valley.
From Dun Laoghaire Port
- Follow signs for N11 Wexford until you reach a roundabout at the start of the M11.
- Exit the roundabout onto the M11, continue on the M11 to Kilmacanogue - about 5 miles (8 km)
- Turn off the M11 towards Roundwood and Glendalough (R755). Continue through Roundwood, cross the Avonmore river at Annamoe, and on to Laragh. (Kilmacanogue to Laragh is about 14 miles, or 22 km)
- Enter the village of Laragh pass a small triangular green area on the right. Turn left, sign-posted Rathdrum.
- Travel on this road for about 3 miles (5 km) crossing the Avonbeg river as you leave Laragh. (Ignore a sign indicating Glenmalure to the right). Continue past Clara Lara Adventure Park (may not be signed in the winter). Turn right sign posted Greenan and drive up a steep hill. Continue on this road for 3 miles (5 km). If in doubt at any junction, bear right.
- Turn right into Glenmalure Pines Golf Club. Continue past the golf course and you will reach a complex of Scandinavian lodges, continue straight, Number 10 Glenmalure Pines is almost at the end of the road on the left. It is clearly numbered.

Alternative route from North Dublin (Airport, Northern Ireland or Dublin Port)
- Follow signs for M50 southbound. (You will join the M1 at the airport, M50 is the first exit, so stay in the left lane). The M50 circles the city, crossing a toll-bridge (€3.00). Stay on the M50. It eventually merges with the M11.
- Exit the M11 at Kilmacanogue.
Now follow the directions opposite from the M11 to Glenmalure.
- Follow the N11 north towards Dublin (should also be sign posted Wexford, and Enniscorthy), until you reach Rathnew - about 68 miles (110 km). Turn left at Rathnew for Rathdrum (R752) - about 8 miles (12 km).
- The R752 from Rathnew bypasses Rathdrum, the village is on the right side of the road. Turn right into the village and continue to the centre, where there is a small car park on the right, bordered by the Woolpack pub. Turn right onto the road that borders the car park. Keep on this road – pass two Y junctions. Take next turn right.
- Turn left into Glenmalure Pines Golf Club - Rathdrum to Glenmalure Golf Club is about 3 miles (5 km). Continue past the golf course and you will reach a complex of Scandinavian lodges, continue straight, Number 10 Glenmalure Pines is almost at the end of the road on the left. It is clearly numbered.
